“Project X” kills again with insane second trailer

This new “Project X” trailer is a kickass wack attack. A found-footage trend, it doesn’t plug elitist film critics from the festival circuit, it quotes from regular ol’ fan boys & girls like you and me who saw a pre-screening. And the lines, displayed as if from Twitter (they probably were) make “X” seem like this spring’s must-see movie. “‘Superbad’ on crack” — that sticks with you. The cuts escalate effectivly from party supplies shopping to stun-gunned neighbors to a helicopter waterbomb. And I love the wrap-up: “nobody’s going to see this but us.” CUT TO a “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” bit about “the party in Pasadena.” I’ll be there.
