Straw Dogs (2011) - Poster 2, 4.6 out of 10 based on 13 ratings
This is a touched-up and only slightly better version of the first poster for “Straw Dogs” (2011). Both are bastardized recreations of the original “Straw Dogs” poster form 1971 — a TFI Perfect 10.

The downgrades from the ’71 original are myriad. This poster adds a cliched caption in an ugly, red font. The reflected face is poorly photoshoped, and senselessly placed next to his eyeball: why is part of his lens reflective and another not?

“Straw Dogs” is better off leaving this one-sheet on the cutting room floor and starting anew, lest they tarnish their entire marketing campaign from the outset.
